Come on, you knew the first one would have to be the KING of HORROR. Without him, horror wouldn’t have expanded as far as it has. We know those who like to deem themselves as “literary” would disagree that horror should even have a genre, but we suspect most literary lovers haven’t read as many novels as we have and only disregard the horror genre because they’re following the “cultured” herd. We prefer our unrefined tastes to theirs and will continue reading whatever we like.
